Yannick had a long and distinguished career as a journalist. Originally an expert in agricultural issues, he covered that sector for five years at three regional newspapers, Ouest France, Sud Ouest, and La Dépêche du Midi, before joining the French national daily newspaper Les Echos. He went on to become a “special correspondent” for the Nouvel Economiste before being named editor-in-chief of Enjeux Les Echos four years later, and then managing editor of the Nouvel Economiste.

In 2004, he joined Publicis Consultants as a partner where he managed some of their major accounts, including L’Oréal and the Caisse des Dépôts, as well as several crisis communications dossiers. In 2007 he became Vice-President of Publicis Consultants and took over management responsibility for Verbe, the publishing arm of the Publicis Group.

In 2009 he left Publicis to create his own company YLB Conseil, a strategic communication agency partner of GPLUS in France since 2016. He currently runs media strategy campaigns for Le Duff group, the GPS (French federation of services providers), the French association for pensions AFER, Avril, the  Ducros group, L’Oreal, Veolia Environment and Eiffage amongst others.
