Emily leads our London office. She is an experienced public affairs consultant with a wealth of experience and established networks in the United Kingdom, having spent the last 25 years working in and around Westminster. She brings to GPLUS a deep-rooted understanding of UK politics and public affairs.
Before joining GPLUS, Emily was Chief Executive of GK Strategy, a UK based public affairs consultancy where she managed a team of over twenty consultants and oversaw the agency’s full client portfolio.
Emily has advised all sorts of businesses, charities, trade unions, and trade associations on a wide range of issues and campaigns, and loves working with clients on really knotty complex problems. From global companies such as EY and Vifor Pharma, to UK private equity investors, such as Rutland Partners and Bowmark Capital, start ups like Matoke Holdings, large charities such as Stonewall and membership bodies such as RCOT, the FDA and UNISON. Emily has an impressive portfolio of work.
Emily was named Public Affairs News Consultant of the Year in 2013 and was shortlisted in the same year for a woman in public life award for her work to promote and champion the public affairs sector. She is Chair of Vauxhall Constituency Labour Party and actively engaged in London and Labour party politics.
