Bilyana joined GPLUS in 2020, from the European Capitals and Cities of Sport Federation (ACES Europe). She currently advises healthcare and transport clients on regulatory/legislative dossiers, policy positioning and public affairs.
Prior to that, Bilyana worked on improving the visibility of ACES Europe in Brussels and beyond, supporting the organisation in extending the portfolio of awarded municipalities and popularising sport as a tool for the accomplishment of public policy goals at the municipal level. Earlier in her career, she also gained experience with news organisations the European Committee of the Regions, the European Small Business Alliance and the Permanent Representation of Bulgaria to the EU.
Bilyana holds a Master’s degree in European Public Affairs from Maastricht University and a Bachelor’s degree in European Studies with French and Russian from the University of Bath.
A Bulgarian native, Bilyana is fluent in English with a working knowledge of French and Russian.
