Saagar holds a First Class bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brunel University London and a master’s in European Public Policy from University College London.
During his postgraduate studies, he gained hands on interviewing experience, having engaged with leading European officials and Ambassador’s from various international embassies. His specific area of research covered EU foreign policy, the EU institutions and policies, as well as regulation and compliance with human rights and democracy in the EU’s neighbourhood.
Prior to joining GPLUS, he worked as the Economic Research Assistant at the Centre for Policy Studies think tank in Westminster. Saagar also has experience working in treasury management and financial services, having spent over a year in these industries during the penultimate year of his undergraduate studies.
In his spare time, Saagar looks to keep up to date with international affairs, by contributing to a blog aimed to engage young people with global issues at the forefront of international development.
