Mauro joined GPLUS’ Brussels office in August 2016 as an intern and was promoted to researcher in January 2017. During these months, he has mainly followed EU energy, telecom, and copyright policies. Previously, he did an internship at the pan-European NGO JEF Europe.
Having been born and raised in Italy, he moved to Belgium when he was 18 years old. He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and a master’s in European studies from the Institute for European Studies of Brussels. Currently, he is completing his education with an advanced master’s degree in European economic integration at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
Besides his native Italian, he is fluent in French and English.
