An expert in EU public affairs and strategic communications, Céline joined GPLUS in 2007 and has since advised clients on issues ranging from EU environment and energy policy to healthcare, consumer affairs and industrial policy.
Over the years, she has also advised foreign governments, large multinationals, trade associations and SMEs.
For over five years, Céline has been a media adviser to the Press Service of the Russian President and Prime Minister, advising them on their communication activities, managing the political risks of intense scrutiny by international media. This has included advice on international news stories and media support at major international events such as G8, G20, and EU-Russia summits.
Céline also has significant experience in engaging with media and EU policy-makers around key pieces of legislation. For several years, she has notably led a campaign to rebalance the debate around the benefits of biofuels in the renewable energy mix. Most recently, Céline has also become a media adviser to international energy company Gazprom Export.
Prior to joining GPLUS, Céline worked for French think-tank Notre Europe where she was responsible for the general coordination of a European Commission funded project of deliberative polling. She also worked in the European Parliament as a press officer in the cabinet of former EP President Josep Borrell Fontelles.
Educated in Belgium at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and Université Catholique de Louvain La Neuve, she holds a Master in Political Science and European Political Studies. Céline speaks French, English and has some basic knowledge of Dutch.
