Gergely brings to g+ europe an unrivalled knowledge and understanding of the political and economic landscape in Central Europe. He is currently advising g+ europe and its clients on all matters related to the Hungarian Presidency of the European Union.
Having been active in EU affairs for over 10 years, Gergely’s key fields of expertise are telecommunications, financial services and energy, including renewable energy sources. He is the founder and managing director of TGG & Partners and GMM EUROPE, which provides clients with EU policy monitoring and strategic consulting.
Previously, Gergely worked for the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Budapest and as a diplomat at the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Hungary to NATO in Brussels. He has also worked in the telecommunications sector at Vivendi Telecom Hungary.
Gergely completed his university studies in Paris at Université Paris - Denis Diderot at the Faculty of History and did a postgraduate MBA course at the University of Economic Sciences in Budapest, where he received a qualification as an economist, majoring in International Economic and Business Relations. He is a founding member of the Brussels-based European Public Affairs Consultancies’ Association (EPACA).
Besides his native Hungarian, Gergely is fluent in English and French.
