Sam joined g+ europe in December 2011. He currently advises clients in the areas of both pharmaceutical and energy policy.
Prior to g+ Sam worked for a Brussels-based public health advocacy group, whose partner organisations include a European professional medical society, a leading research charity and an alliance of European health organisations. There he implemented lobbying strategies, actively engaging with EU decision-makers on a variety of issues relating to public health policy, the internal market and counterfeit trade.
As part of his previous role, he also had the opportunity to work on a European Commission mass-communication campaign, as well as advise EU government officials on health and trade policy at two UN treaty negotiations, in Geneva and South America.
Sam graduated from the University of Southampton with an LL.B in Law (European Legal Studies). He also spent a year studying law at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. Apart from his native English, Sam speaks French and some German.
